Are you a nursery practitioner looking for a short term or long term role in Cambridge.

A nursery in Cambridge is recruiting nursery practitioners for short term contracts to join them immediately. The nursery was recently rated as Good by Ofsted. Due to a rapid expansion the nursery is recruiting for staff to join them on short term or daily supply contracts. The successful candidates will be paid above minimum wage with the possibility of a permanent role if that is desired. The nursery is located on the Addenbrookes hospital site and can cater for up to 152 children at any one time.

'Overall, children make good progress in their learning. By the time children leave to go to school, they are confident, independent and capable'.

The nursery has 5 large spacious rooms which are stocked with the latest educational and learning resources. 4 of these rooms has access to the secure garden that children are encouraged to play in all year round.

This role is ideal for students looking to pursue their career in Early Years or those who are looking for a better work life balance who do not want to work full time.

To be considered for this role you must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS, be UK Level 3 qualified in Early Years and be comfortable working with a strong team of assistants, nurses and apprentices.

The nursery will provide on-going training and can offer the successful candidate the chance to apply for a permanent role in the nursery.

Your responsibilities include:
* Being flexible on the start times of your shifts.

* Be able to cover various age ranges in the EYFS.
* Providing support to newly qualified Nursery Assistants and Apprentices.

You will need:
* A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above (but they will consider level 2 qualifications with suitable experience).
* An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS.
* A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* To be fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
