Store Manager Required for Exciting New Flagship Lighting & Homeware store in Bath

Primary Responsibilities:
The Retail Manager will:
* Motivate and coach a sales team of at least 5 + people to achieve/exceed sales
* Put in place and manage a successful staffing plan to cover a busy 7 day a week retail space
* Create and execute plans to drive sales.
* Deliver an outstanding guest experience underlining our high-quality brand standards
* Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards with high-converting displays; optimize retail sales space for maximum revenue
* Liaise with the Head Office team to implement and manage a complete delivery system to the store (including returns, free of charge replacements and customers' orders to store)
* Be ultimately accountable for the Bath store budgets and sales targets. You will the report on spend, sales and talent data regularly to stake holders, and suggest continuous improvements to these results through analyses and experienced decision making.
Required Experience and Job Skills:
* 2+ years in leading a large and diverse retail sales team with a minimum of 4+ employees and 1+ assistant managers
* Assess and develop talent, in order to build future leadership pipeline
* Manage time effectively through prioritization
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Strong verbal and written English language skills
* Knowledgeable in customer service software, MS Excel reporting, Word and Outlook
Experience:
Store management: 3-5 years (Required)
We are an independent retailer with a unique approach to British manufacturing and as such we are looking for someone with an interesting story behind them. Though you must have a strong experience in retail, it's a passion for exceptional customer service, great British design and inspiration leadership that will really decide who we choose for this role.
Education:
Secondary education and degree level (Required)
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. As the shop is going to open 7 days a week you must be able to commit to some weekend work within your role
