A sports company seeking a midlands-based Brand Ambassador to support their network of UK stockists

Your new company
A leading brand name in sports, proud of their heritage and products they produce. They offer quality products to the sports and recreation market and are now recruiting for a Brand Ambassador to support their network of stockists, to ensure their brand looks great in store, is well maintained and is selling to the best of its abilities by delivering training to store colleagues. You will also attend sports events and interact with customers.

Your new role
The overall purpose of your role is to support a number of high-street and independent sports retailers across the UK. You will travel from store to store in your provided transport ensuring this brand is given the best opportunity to perform well - you will ensure it is in the best possible location, is fully stocked and looking good, and that store colleagues are equipped with the knowledge and advice needed to confidently promote your product to customers. You will visit each store updating teams with the latest product training and deploying new merchandising schemes. If you see that stock availability is low, you will confirm repeat orders with retailers and promote new products they may like to add to the range. Using your provided phone and laptop you will complete weekly journey plans and merchandising reports to be sent to head office. You will be the face of this brand, both to your retailer contacts and to the public at sponsored sports events - this is a really fun role for right person.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have prior brand ambassador or sales representative experience with the ability to maintain merchandise and POS. You should be passionate about sports and be a keen sportsperson. It's important you are self-motivating, organised and have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. You will occasionally be taking part in sports events nationally, so a good level of fitness is required.

You must have a full, clean driving license and be a confident driver as you will be on the road daily driving from store to store across the patch. You must also be flexible regarding travel and working hours, as there will be some evening and weekend working and occasional overnight stays may be required - overnight accommodation will be provided. You will also be required to attend Sales Meetings, Trade Shows and sponsored sports events. You should be a proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
