Job Purpose

The Digital Marketing Executive will create, in conjunction with the Marketing & Communications Director, a digital marketing strategy and tactics for the wider business. They will then be responsible for implementing the tactics, ensuring that they fully support the marketing needs of the business.

About the role
  • Create, develop and implement short and long term plans to drive traffic to the relevant websites thereby increasing leads and revenue; within agreed budgets and timescales
  • Develop and implement the company's wider digital strategy and tactics, with specific emphasis on email marketing, SMS, PPC and SEO activity
  • Develop, test and launch any new websites required by the business
  • Maintain the company's websites on an ongoing basis through the provision of updated information and content on a regular basis
  • Brief and liaise with agency specialists (including website developers, PPC and SEO) to support the implementation of agreed digital marketing activity and support the co-ordination of their involvement in relevant projects
  • Establish and maintain all referral and digital channels e.g. Google My Business, to ensure that the company is always well represented on digital channels
  • Work with the PR & CSR team to deliver the social media programme
  • To identify best practice relating to digital marketing activities by sourcing, researching and benchmarking new tools and techniques

About you
  • Hold a qualification at Diploma level or above in a digital marketing related subject.
  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role either client or agency side.
  • Experience of using social channels and monitoring tools: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Sproutsocial, Hootsuite, Social Mention etc
  • Strong copywriting skills and creative flair, with experience of writing for social media/online.
  • Experience of delivering content/marketing for B2B audiences
  • Strong project management skills to ensure activity is delivered in full and on time with a high level of professionalism, to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Considerable experience of:

a. delivering new website projects

b. implementing successful e-marketing campaigns and managing websites, with experience of implementing SEO and PPC techniques

c. managing relationships with third party partners and internal stakeholders i.e. as a service provider or as an affinity partner

d. working with external marketing agencies including website developers, SEO and PPC
