POSITION: Finance Assistant - Part Time

SALARY: £21k-£24k pro rata

BENEFITS: Company Pension, Daily Parking Expenses Paid

HOURS: 4 Days per week (9am - 5.30pm)

LOCATION: Hampshire GU11 1TT

DESCRIPTION:

Established in 1990, our client is a Chartered Certified Accountancy Practice. The business has been awarded an Investors' in People award.

Due to continued business growth the company is seeking to recruit a Sales & Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small finance department in a
well-regarded practice.

JOB ROLE (not limited to):
  • Raising Sales Invoices and Credits.
  • Resolving Customer queries by email and phone.
  • Liaising with In-house departmental queries.
  • Purchase Ledger entry.
  • Transaction reconciliations.
  • Processing Receipts and Payments.
  • Updating of databases.
  • Assisting other Finance team members.
  • Ad hoc general office duties when required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent Sage 50 experience.
  • Accurate with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Reliable and adaptable.
  • Good excel skills.
  • Possess a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Be able to work in a team and on own initiative.
