Marketing Executive

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing executive with strong all round marketing skills. The role will involve supporting marketing managers with marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix. You will be responsible for preparing marketing materials, copywriting, desktop publishing, market research, project managing the compilation of directory submissions and assisting with client account support, providing a suite of marketing support publications for individual clients.

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic marketing executive to fulfil this diverse role. It is critical that the successful candidate can demonstrate experience in providing high quality service, understanding complex service areas and building strong internal relationships. You will be professional, pay attention to detail and have a proactive approach.

Educated to degree level, or with a professional marketing qualification, you will offer strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable working to tight timescales.

Main duties:

This position will play a key role in the delivery of the firm's marketing plan, along with raising and developing the firm's brand.

·Supporting the delivery of marketing activity, including the production of corporate literature, newsletters, alerts and other branded materials using desktop publishing software and liaising with our graphic designers where appropriate.

·Working with marketing managers to provide client account support by producing regular bespoke client communications

·Copywriting and simplifying complex copy

·Leading research projects and monitoring client and market news

·Project managing and preparing the firm's submissions to the main legal directories.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be a self-starter and team player in equal measure. They will be ambitious, positive and energetic. Highly organised with very strong attention to detail, the candidate will be capable of influencing all levels of staff.

The individual will have excellent communication skills demonstrating the confidence to engage effectively and credibly with busy individuals at a senior level. A high degree of competency and the ability to handle a challenging and varied workload is essential.

The individual's skills and experience will include:

·Relevant B2B marketing experience (professional services experience preferred).

·Excellent project, organisational and time management skills.

·Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·Strong copywriting skills with the ability to analyse complex information and present it in an easy to understand, readable format. This includes the ability to adapt style to different audiences and channels.

·Strong editing and proof-reading skills.

·Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·Experience of working with and the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) would be an advantage.
