Do you have the passion, drive and enthusiasm needed to raise funds to help the RSPB to give nature a home? The High Value Fundraising Team at UKHQ, is looking to recruit a Communications and Compliance Executive to join a successful team of talented fundraisers ideally based at The Lodge, reporting to the Head of Grants. This is a varied job which plays a supporting role to both the grants and trusts teams at UKHQ.

Location: Sandy
Salary starting at: £22,073 to £25,752 per annum pro rata
Hours: Part time, 22.5 hours per week
Contract: Maternity Cover

It is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills and experience to help champion grants compliance and best practice at UKHQ and with UK Country colleagues. Your attention to detail will help ensure that our annual acknowledgements, Landfill Communities Fund compliance inspections and funder fulfilment obligations are met. This role will also give the successful applicant the opportunity to build and steward relationships with small to medium sized charitable trusts mainly through newsletter communications and mailings.

We are looking for a person with strong administrative skills with a good level of written and spoken English. If you also love an Excel spreadsheet and are happy tracking down financial details then this is the job for you! Experience with CRM databases would be a bonus as would knowledge of grants and trusts. The ability to juggle a varied workload will be essential.
