Audit & Accounts Senior in Romford

A fantastic opportunity to join a established 10 Partner Practice in Romford who are looking to add a qualified Audit and Accounts Senior to their established & growing Practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to continue their experience within Accounts & Audit management with a clear path of Managerial status in the future.

This practice has been established for over 100 years, has 10 partners and has a clear pathway for a Audit individual t to step up to a Supervisor and a Manager in the future. They offer a fantastic approach to working closely with clients and treat their members of staff fantastically!

Audit and Accounts Senior in Romford
  • Leading client audit engagements, including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial statements
  • Supervise, train and mentor less senior employees
  • Research and analyse financial statements and audit related issues
  • Acquire a working knowledge of the client's business
  • Proactively interact with our clients' management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
  • Strong leadership and co-ordination of the audit team to ensure deadlines and budgets are adhered to
  • Substantive and compliance testing, whilst identifying and resolving any errors
  • Investigate and provide recommendations for audit review queries, ensuring all relevant action points have been adequately addressed
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary

Experience required for the Audit and Accounts Senior in Romford
  • Intermediate to Advanced professional accounting practice experience
  • A Degree in Accountancy or related subject
  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Solid understanding of accounting and audit software
  • Strong MS Excel skills, ideally to advanced level
  • High level communication skills between clients, staff and management
  • Strong time management skills and not phased by deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Provide good attention to detail
  • Effective team member
  • Proactive and motivated
