Deputy Programme Director (Mechanical, Electrical & HVAC) - Nuclear New Build

A lucrative opportunity exists for a professional & career driven Deputy Programme Director to be part of the future global growth of the company, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the most significant Nuclear New Build projects in the UK.

To be responsible for overseeing the management, delivery & co-ordination of all Mechanical, Electrical & HVAC programme works on this highly esteemed project.

Key skills / attributes:

Essentials;

Degree and Chartered, within engineering i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC combined with programme management experience on projects worth £Billions.
APM and Prince2 Qualified.

Engineering / Technical Background on Multi Disciplined Projects is required for this role.

High level expertise on Engineering Design, Field and Contract execution strategies for project delivery.

Proven track record on Multi-Discipline EPCM Projects.

Subject matter expert on PWR Design and Operations.

Extensive Procurement. Commercial Control and Management of Complex Contracts.

Must have high value project exposure in excess of £5BN on high profile major projects; Nuclear, MOD/Defence, Rail etc.

Skilled in cultivating excellent working relationships at Management, Executive & Director Level.

High level knowledge of UK Nuclear Legislation & Regulations to include Health & Safety procedures including Construction Design Management.

Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills are key to this role with the ability to manage complex multiple workstreams and stakeholder organisations.

Robust commercial awareness skills, capability for budget forecasting and analytical interpretation.

Desired; BPSS (if no clearance held must be willing to go through clearance)
