This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest consultants in the UK, specialising in the design and implementation of in-building cellular communications coverage systems for the mobile phone operators.

Warehouse Manager required to work from their premises in Camberley. The Warehouse Manager will effectively manage, the daily operations of the warehouse and ensure the warehouse is organised, allowing efficient turnaround for company personnel and service engineers collecting products or products to be shipped. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for H&S within the warehouse.

The Role Will Consist of The Following:

Reporting to the Department Manager the successful candidate will manage the daily operation of the warehouse and H&S within the warehouse. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials
- Ensure all incoming stock is recorded accurately on warehouse database.
- Pick and fill orders from stock against authorised requisitions. Monitor picking process for accuracy.
- Collate and prepare the equipment for shipping orders to site.
- Introduce and maintain effective stock control systems to ensure that stock accuracy is maintained in correct locations that are clearly identified
- Maintain stock controls on the system by collecting stock control location orders, printing requests, recording amount of materials or items received or distributed
- Conduct monthly stock control audits
- Introduce, implement and maintain a Health & Safety policy for the Warehouse
- Ensure all employees who access the Warehouse are aware of the H&S policy, always trained as appropriate and adhere to safe working practices.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is always a safe working environment and kept clean and tidy
- Ad-hoc tasks as required by the company.
- Delivery of equipment to site.
- Introduce, implement and maintain WEEE recycling policy and disposal.
- Introduce, implement and maintain company-wide PPE requirements.
- Monitor all processes for effectiveness and propose changes as appropriate

Person Specification

- Inventory and equipment maintenance skills
- Excel and database skills essential
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C including Maths and English
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Experience of developing process efficiencies
- Able to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Attention to detail is essential
- A positive attitude is required for coping with the changing requirements of customers and in dealing with colleagues
- Sufficient fitness level required for picking, packing and shipping large telecoms components
