Geoff King at RBW Consulting is supporting a world leading Biotechnology company in the recruitment of a Statistical Programming Manager. This position is office based in West London with 1-2 days home work flexibility.

As a Statistical Programming Manager - Technical Manager, you will oversee the quality of projects managed by the CRO partners FSP team and ensure that timelines, quality, data standards and compliance expectations are met.

As a Statistical Programming Manager you will play an important part in delivering the companies mission to serve and improve the lives of patients suffering from serious illness. As part of a global team you will have the opportunity to work for a biotechnology pioneer who has grown to become a world leader in rare disease.

Main duties & responsibilities:

·Ensure that timelines, quality, data standards and compliance expectations are met.

·Provide estimation of project resource needs

·Ensure FSP adherence to company Policies and SOPs.

·Provide guidance to FSP Study Lead Programmers

·Conduct kick-off meetings for each outsourced project

·Monitor and report on FSP performance

Key requirements:
  • BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
  • SAS programming experience working within a clinical trials environment (Pharma or biotech)
  • Ability to lead programmers in successful completion of all programming activities
  • Knowledge of CDSIC standards and industry best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with a broad range of people across different functions
