Fantastic opportunity for a candidate with customer services experience wanting to get into a career with prospects to move into true technical support 1st and 2nd Line

My client is a long established business and is seeking someone with good IT skills to look after the client portal and technical support to clients and end users of their on line payment system

Your goal will be to identify and resolve all application questions raised by the clients/users and respond in well written emails so that they can follow the instructions to rectify the issue

Essential Skills:
  • An aptitude for understanding the workings of software applications
  • Software enthusiast - Desire to go beyond their scope of knowledge to explain a feature
  • IT proficient, able to troubleshoot software issues, confident to install/uninstall program's.
  • Proficient in the use of Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Good phone manner
Desirable Skills:
  • Min 1st or 2nd line experience of providing support for software applications
  • Experience of customer service
  • Some knowledge of SQL databases
  • Experience of remote support (Logmein/teamviewer or similar)
  • Basic understanding of Server Architecture
