Exciting opportunity for a high achieving Independent School in the Surrey area in search for a talented Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Engineer. Great benefits including Free daily lunch onsite, free use of the onsite Gym, 25 Days annual leave plus a host of additional benefits.

Core working hours are to cover 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
As IT Support analyst / Technician you will be offered a competitive salary of up to £24,000 plus benefits.

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager you will be:

* Providing technical support in order to ensure the smooth operation of the service desk dealing with day-day support tickets and administration.
* Supporting software installation and maintenance, as well as technical support to staff
* Monitoring the safety and security of all networks and ensuring on-time maintenance is carried out to minimize the risk of downtime
* Day-to-day administration and support of the IT infrastructure, including but not limited to PCs, servers, virtual environments, mobile devices, peripherals, audio-visual systems, LAN & WLAN across organisational sites.
* Communicating progress regarding on-going issues to staff in a timely manner

The role offers plenty of challenges and a good opportunity to gain valuable experience within the IT support sector. You will require an aptitude for working with applications and systems in order to undertake analysis and diagnostics. IT issues can vary from simple staff issues to more complicated technical issues, which in itself represent a great opportunity for growth within the role and the organisation.

Experience working as an IT Service desk support analyst / engineer.
  • Service desk
  • Understanding Networking
  • Experience supporting Windows 7 and 10.
  • Good Understanding of Microsoft product stack.
  • Office 365.
  • Experience of networking and server 2008/2012/2016 would be desirable.
