2 - Key responsibilities Merchandising • Build Trade, strategy/ range sign off packs and actively participate in meetings with Buyer and Merchandiser resulting in new option plan, buy plan, range and strategy creation • Work with Assistant Buyer to manage stock in and out of the business in the most profitable way possible. Do this within OTB through the means of accurate forecasts which are reviewed, identifying opportunities to pull in stock or push/out cancel to maximise sales and minimise markdown spend. • Working with the Merchandiser to forecast forward orders as well as checking orders for weekly repeats calculated by MAA • Critical path management of Own Brand to ensure stock is delivered on time • Oversee stock allocation to ensure availability • Be an integral part of the MAA's training and development • Be a commercial thinker who can trade the category based on analysis of category, product group, brand and SKU performance, by channel. Reporting • On a regular basis reporting on o Stock availability o Sales and sales trends by product category o Margin vs LW, LY and Plan o Product reviews by brand and category

1 - The purpose of your role

As a key and leading role within the Merchandising team you need to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time. Working alongside the Buying team, you will analyse previous sales trends to successfully forecast what we need to buy, how much of it and when it needs to hit stores to maximise profit and minimise markdown.

Ad hoc duties: As with all roles, you may at times be required to carry out ad hoc duties; whether that is to support another team member, to take on additional responsibilities or to get involved in project work that may impact not only on your department but also the wider business.

• Experience at Assistant Merch level within merchandising or an experienced MAA ready for the next step • Experience of managing team members • Commercially aware with strong trading focus to maximise sales and profit whilst minimising markdown and cost of reduction. • Experience with Microsoft office and proficient in excel. • Experience of working with WSSI's or forecasting tools • Highly numerate • Good communication and excellent team player with a 'make it happen' attitude • Ability to work to tight deadlines within the team but also to work with initiative, proactively and manage own workload.

• Experience of Microsoft Navision Dynamics, Targit • Passion for cycling • Previous AM or senior MAA experience
