What's the role?

As a Voice NOC Engineer your primary focus is to provide 24 x 7 monitoring and control on the Vodafone switched network. You will be the "go to" providing technical support/fault reporting function on all Voice Platforms for Vodafone fixed interconnect, directly connected customers and all other areas of the Vodafone business, as well as deliver best in class customer service.

It's a really exciting time to join us as we are currently moving from a legacy network into a new IP environment- you will be picking up all the new VOIP skills and monitoring a new network.

What will you be doing?

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all customer requests, internal and external, are actioned and resolved accurately, in line with agreed business processes and procedures, and to the customer's satisfaction.

• Provide timely response to network alarms.

• Be a contributing team member ensuring key business objectives and individual performance standards are met and/or exceeded.

What's needed?

You will have strong experience working within a NOC dealing with customers, carriers and vendors, exceptional communication and team working skills.

Ideally, you will have the following Technical Knowledge:

• Experienced in a Voice Telecoms environment

• Knowledge of VoIP

• Knowledgeable in Switch Maintenance and Hardware
