Chemring Technology Solutions (CTS) are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to support our Head of Sales with our EOD and VehicleScan Product Portfolio.

What will your role look like?

Working out of our offices in Poole, you will be responsible for:
  • Achieving EOD Sales Targets and stretch commitments for the Region.
  • Generation of new sales and customer relationships, ensuring year on year growth.
  • Managing customer relationships; ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Generation of OI budget and funnel to meet regional yearly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Developing a considered and effective BACM compliant regional network for agents and distributors.
  • Development and management of exhibition plans for the region.
  • Ownership and coordination of demonstration and trials of product.
  • Articulating the use and application of our products and capabilities through customer briefings and presentations.
  • Providing accurate updates and reports on all opportunities in accordance with our business rhythm and reporting cycle.

What do we expect from you?
  • A proactive, adaptable, self-managing go getter with a hunter approach to business and demonstrable ability to close.
  • Ideally, the successful candidate will be an ambitious sales professional with established Defence and Security domain experience. However, we will consider applicants outside of the domain with demonstrable sales record, and the potential to carve a career within the sector.
  • EOD/C-IED and Security domain knowledge would be an advantage, however sector experience and/or a working knowledge of CTS products or a related technology sector would be considered.
  • Business experience and an understanding of the relationship between opportunities, forecasting, order and revenue to the business.
  • Developed global contact base within the EOD/C-IED and Security domain. However, we will consider candidates with an ability to demonstrate effective contact base within the Defence and Security sector.

Due to the nature of this position, you will either hold or be eligible to achieve SC clearance. As a result you should be a British Citizen, and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
