My client are an International Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organisation managing its customers' indirect material spend via an integrated e-procurement platform. Their client list includes multinational organisations such as pharmaceutical, automotive, and food manufacturers.

They have invested £23m for a majority stake. We have grown from strength to strength: increasing their turnover by more than double in 6 years; making an acquisition in 2017; and more recently moving into new premises to accommodate their growth! Last year they were then acquired by an international parent company.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on and shape a brand new role. The holder of this post will manage communications. They will develop and deliver internal communications strategy, helping our people understand the overall growth plans, and creating excitement in the pivotal role everyone plays in our success.

This is a standalone role but the successful candidate will also work closely with our parent company's Communications Team to ensure communications are aligned with the wider Group's strategy and priorities

There will be a lot of responsibility from day one in the role, and it would suit someone who is keen to develop and really make their mark in the business.

A large part of this role will be focused on internal communications but the successful candidate will also get involved with external communications activities as required, so it's a great opportunity to build rounded communications experience.

Job Description:

* Create and manage comprehensive communications plans to support both the needs of the business and the wider group.

* Be a consultative support to the business Leadership Team, providing informed communication guidance, recommendations and direction.

* Communicate in a planned, timely, clear and consistent manner key activities and business decisions and provide clarity and direction for our people.

* Develop, own and manage internal communications tools and channels, ensuring we have ways to reach and involve both office-based and stores-based (remote) employees.

* Regularly review the effectiveness of internal communications activities and take steps to continually improve.

* Work closely with the President to draft email updates, town hall scripts and other ad hoc communications.

* Manage regular communications channels including our weekly newsletter and monthly cascades.

* Promote and embed the use of Yammer and other digital channels.

* Support the Business Development Director with external communications, such as management of the company website.

Skills Required:

* Minimum of two years in a communications-related role.

* Strong writing skills - the ability to make complex issues simple and craft messages that people across the organisation will understand.

* Excellent organisational/project management skills.

* Digitally savvy with an understanding of new technologies.

* The ability to challenge, coach, build credibility and work with integrity at all levels within the organisation.

* Degree in a relevant field such as English, modern languages or marketing, and/or a professional communications qualification - not essential but an advantage.

Experience Required:

* Experience of designing and delivering communication plans.

* Experience of video production, SharePoint and collaboration tools such as Yammer.

* Some experience of managing external agencies and suppliers.

Knowledge Required:

* An interest in and understanding of communications best practice.

Additional

* The role is based in Warrington with an occasional requirement to travel to other sites. Core working hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
