SEN Teaching Assistant Person Specification
For this post you should be an enthusiastic graduate who has earned a second-class degree or better, you will ideally have experience supporting children that have SEN. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you must possess an innate passion for supporting children that require extra help, both academically and pastorally. The hired SEN Teaching Assistant will have an empathic approach and will be a cheerful individual who can thrive in a new school with a patient and caring nature.

SEN Teaching Assistant Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, a large proportion of your role will involve you supporting the learning of a specific Year 2 pupil who has moderate speech and language difficulties. Your responsibilities will also include acting as a general class TA and supporting the friendly SEN department.
