Are you an experienced Legal Secretary, perhaps a little frustrated in your current role and looking for a new challenge within a reputable legal practice? Look no further, as an excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Private Client team of a well regarded Hampshire law firm, in its offices in Romsey.
Working within the Private Client team you will provide full support to Fee Earners dealing with matters such as Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, LPAs etc.
To be considered for this role you must have gained at least 12 months' experience of working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Private Client team of a recognised firm of Solicitors - although you certainly won't be ruled out if you have experience in other areas of law and are looking for a change.
Duties will be varied but will include:
  • Audio / Copy typing of documents, letters, emails etc
  • Extensive telephone liaison with clients, answering queries where possible
  • Diary management and organising meetings and appointments
  • Maintenance and opening of files
  • Any other related administrative duties
You will need a typing speed of at least 60wpm, and will, of course, be IT savvy. Key to the role, however, is the ability to get along with people in a friendly yet professional manner, so exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must.
