Major & Complex Loss Adjuster - Hampshire - up to £70,000 per annum plus Bonus, Car or Car Allowance plus an excellent benefits package

Large, Complex Claims, providing the highest level of world-class talent and the Industry's largest network to strategically manage large complex losses anywhere in the world, my client is seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster to join their Major & Complex team due to growth and expansion within the Major & Complex Loss Division.

Being part of the Major & Complex Loss Adjusting team you can be home or office based covering the Hampshire region with an annual basic salary of up to £70,000 per annum plus bonus, company car or car allowance, plus an excellent benefits package.

The main purpose of this Major & Complex Loss Adjusting role is to manage / project manage Major and Complex losses and business interruption due to major incidents such as fire damage and floods to Commercial (Public houses, Factories, Manufacturing Plants, Warehouses, Retail premises, Listed Buildings etc.,) and HNW Domestic Properties in excess of £100k and including multi-million pound properties.

As an experienced Loss Adjuster, you will have a real-world understanding of how any large loss impacts a business or an individual by offering every resource to minimise the inevitable disruption and offer the security and confidence that every aspect of the loss will be planned, organised and executed at the highest level of industry, technical and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

- Work both externally and internally assessing major and complex claims, and adjusting where appropriate on an international basis.
- Prepare case management plans, visit insurers, reinsurers, claimants and the insured.
- Visit sites, interviewing witnesses and preparing witness statements
- Communicating and liaising with surveyors, lawyers, forensic scientists and other experts as appropriate
- Prepare reports, including policy analysis, liability, quantum and future actions
- Calculate and agree settlement of claims and prepare final reports

Background, experience and Professional Qualifications:

- Have extensive Property Claims experience within a Loss Adjusting Capacity
- Posses a proven track record of handling losses nearer to £100k or in excess of
- Excellent Communication skills being able to deal with all levels of people on a face to face basis
and have the ability to show empathy and be able to handle complex situations
- Be able to work on own initiative as well as being able to work well as a team
- Have the ability to work within a targeted and pressured environment
- Excellent relationship management with clients
- ACILA qualified
- Full Clean Driving licence is essential
