We have a fantastic opportunity for an Email Marketing Executive to join our ParentMail Marketing team in Peterborough.

This role is important as you'll be responsible for maintaining our marketing automation workspaces and executing digital marketing campaigns for IRIS Software Group's Education division.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include the upload and optimisation of website page content across IRIS' Education portfolio and assist in the sending of targeting email communications to Education customers and prospects.

What will you be doing?

In this position your day-to-day tasks will typically involve the following:

  • Developing and maintaining campaign flows to successfully move prospects through the customer journey.
  • Ensuring that campaign setup and processes are in line with overall platform architecture and lead flow/scoring programs.
  • Serving as technical support for all campaign issues.
  • Contributing to Marketo/Pardot best practice adding to the team's knowledge share.
  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager and the IRIS Group's Digital Marketing Director to create and maintain closed-loop marketing reports to understand marketing program and channel performance.
  • Assisting in delivering Search Engine Marketing (including SEO and PPC) optimisation across all IRIS websites.
  • Reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Conducting frequent competitor analysis research to ensure IRIS remains a leader in providing business-critical software and services.
  • Working with the marketing team to plan, execute, and measure AB tests improve customer experience and lead generation.
  • Working between the content team, campaign managers and Product Marketing Managers to analyse existing asset performance and collaborate with the content team to create high-quality content to be used in campaign manager campaigns.
  • Maintaining website pages and making updates and fixes in online content, including uploading banner and text content.
  • Building and optimising campaign landing pages to capture data.
  • Creating, editing and posting marketing video content
  • Promoting the IRIS brand in a friendly, professional manner.

What skills and experience do you need to have?

It's essential you have the following skills and experience:

  • A proven track-record of coordinating digital acquisition campaigns.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing automation including nurture, segmentation and program reporting.
  • Handling data in accordance with GDPR and Data Protection Regulation legislation.
  • Optimising digital campaigns that engage, inform, educate, advise and motivate to convert.
  • Working knowledge of multiple CMS' including WordPress to update website content.
  • Using Adobe Creative Cloud for creating and editing video and PDF assets.
  • Proven experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels.
  • An understanding of on-page SEO techniques.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz)
  • Experience in optimising Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook campaigns
  • That you're up-to- date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
  • That you're action orientated, analytical and motivated by driving business impact.
