They offer the best mix of the small company, family feel combined with the interesting projects and challenges commonly seen in larger businesses.

Due to growth and recent contact wins, we're looking for Junior Cyber Security and SOC analysts to join the team. Working as part of a Blue Team managed service, you will provide support and guidance to your clients in all areas of cyber security - from proactive/reactive monitoring to target hardening and similar.

This role would be an ideal fit for someone with 1-2 years' experience looking to progress their career into a consultative or MSP environment.

We're looking for:
  • Keen interest in cyber security issues and trends, with a passion for learning new skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work in a customer facing role.
  • Someone well organised, able to plan and prioritise their time
  • Previous experience in Cyber Security - ideally from a previous Security Analysis/SOC role, although degree level candidates will be considered.
  • Networking knowledge such as TCP/IP, host-based forensics and similar
  • Working knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS or IDP
  • Experience with Windows, Linux or Mac
  • Previous helpdesk experience will be beneficial

Due to the 24-hour nature of Cyber Security threats, you will work a 4 on-4 off shift pattern which will start after a short period of training.

On offer for the right candidate is a competitive salary based on your experience, 25 days holiday that increases with service as well as a range of other benefits including a dedicated training budget, allocated R&D time and a great social calendar.

The successful candidate will undergo background checks and vetting to SC level. To that end you must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with a clean criminal record.
