Immediately available DT Teacher required in a Secondary School in Wigan.

The school have approached Hays seeking a DT Teacher for an immediate start on a long term basis.

Your new role
Joining an established DT Department you will be responsible for teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, planning and preparing lessons, delivering lessons and then completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils work. As this is a long term role you may also be required to take on additional responsibilities and attend parents evenings.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must have QTS/QTLS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) and have experience teaching Resistant Materials and general Design Technology in the UK Curriculum up to KS4. You will be confident and creative with a committed, positive teaching approach. You should also have good communication and behaviour management skills.
