***NEW BOOKKEEPING VACANCY ALERT***A sought after part-time Bookkeeper role has arisen for our local clients based in Hook, Hampshire. Using Sage Line 50 the Bookkeeper would be required to work 2 days a week (hours/days to be discussed) and have some knowledge of CIS payments or previous Bookkeeping experience within the construction sector. Salary c.£15-16ph depending on experience. Key responsibilities for the Part-time Bookkeeper include;
  • Accounts Payable - loading on all payments (Sage)
  • Sending remittances
  • Bank & credit card reconciliation
  • Processing CIS payments
  • Dealing with supplier queries and ensure all invoices are accounted for
  • Scaling and filing of all accounting documentation
  • Track/monitor staff holiday and sickness records
  • Be 1st point of contact for the accounts generic email
  • Answering calls and responding to accounts enquiries
  • Accounts reporting for pay runs
  • Site Delivery Note/Invoice check
  • Processing Staff Expenses
  • Overseeing seeing Payroll/Pension submissions with external accountant
  • Collating and monitoring Subcontractor/Consultants Insurances
The ideal Bookkeeper will need;
  • Previous experience of working with Sage Line 50
  • Experience of CIS payments or Bookkeeping within the construction sector preferred
  • Intermediate / advanced Excel
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Be a flexible and pro-active team player
  • Have strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Own transport essential; free on-site parking
