History Teacher required at a Secondary School in Wigan to start in September 2019 on a long term basis

Your new company
This Secondary School is based on the outskirts of Wigan therefore easily accessible from all areas of the North West and has an excellent reputation locally. Due to recent changes within their Humanities department, the school have approached Hays seeking a History Teacher to start in September 2019 on a long term basis.

Your new role
Joining the Humanities department, you will be responsible for teaching History to KS4. You will be required to fully plan and prepare lessons, delivering these creating a positive learning environment helping the students achieve their full learning potential. As this is a long term role, you will also be required to attend school meetings and parents evenings, fully contributing to school life.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you must have QTS/QTLS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) and have experience with teaching in the UK Curriculum up to KS4. You will have a confident approach with strong classroom management skills. You will be available to start in September 2019 and continue on a long term basis.
