The Company

The Temporary Division of Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting for a temporary Accounts Payable Controller for our client in Watford , this position should last between 3-6 months initially.

The Role

As Accounts Payable Controller you will be expected to run the day to day functions of the Purchase Ledger such as accurate processing of invoices, controlling payment cycles, raising cheques, investigate price variances, cashbook postings and reconciliation, posting of exchange rate gains/losses, petty cash posting. Other duties include preparation of analysis of various general ledger accounts, amending supplier records and answering queries, preparation of monthly journals for expenses, foreign travel and corporate credit cards. You will have at least 3 years experience in a supervisor position, be familiar with Microsoft Excel and also have knowledge of today's ERP systems. Personal skills must include pro-activity, ability to work with a team and the aptitude to hit the ground running. The position is initially a temporary assignment to cover a busy period although there is every chance of it developing into a permanent post for the right candidate.

Salary & Benefits

This role of Accounts Payable Senior is paying £200 per day via umbrella / ltd company
