ROLE OVERVIEW

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Tate & Lyle Sugars for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our team.As the Finance Manager for the commercial team you will be the financial "go-to" business partner to the VP of Sales and Marketing - Europe, the Sales & Marketing Directors and their pan European equivalent

You provide financial & technical rigour to support decision making within Tate & Lyle Sugars - focused on our commercial/customer offering, but within the context of our wider corporate strategy encompassing manufacturing, product and supply chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·To be able to understand the bases of assumptions supporting standard cost estimates and challenge, as necessary. To be the link between the EU Commercial Team and the EU Operational Team

·To own the annual Standard CTO ("Contribution To Overheads") budgeting process and to deliver a fully reviewed, and signed off budget

·To support the Sales team to manage its rebates accruals through the production of regular reports and analysis and to be able to navigate SAP system

·To provide month- end, quarterly and annual commentary and analysis on commercial performance to the Finance Department and others as well as providing daily, monthly,quarterly and annual data to internal customer as well as external agencies

·To develop the analytics and challenge in all areas e.g. business performance, revenue/deductions, contract management

WHAT YOU NEED

·Bachelors degree required; technical background/education preferable

·Qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with 3 -5 years + post qualified experience

·FMCG or Food industry experience beneficial
