KCR Solutions are currently looking to a recruit an Interim Management Accountant for 12 months for an excellent client in Alnwick.

Salary - £24,000 to £30,000

Key Responsibilities

1. Completing all allocated month-end processes in line with agreed deadlines

2. Completing a monthly analysis of manufacturing postings

3. Providing the leadership team with a monthly manufacturing report

4. Preparing and submitting timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations

5. Recording and reviewing standard costing for UK goods

6. Recording and reviewing UK manufacturing costs

7. Undertaking purchase price variance analysis for the UK making appropriate recommendations as required

8. Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget

9. Assisting with the annual stock take process

10. Completing freight cost analysis for the UK

11. Reviewing SAP postings and clearing errors where necessary

12. Tracking inventory write-offs

13. Adhering to agreed processes and controls, ensuring compliance with best practice.

14. Performing other duties and responsibilities, including ad hoc project work, as and when required to support the Manager

Role Requirements

1.Part Qualified or working towards a professional Qualification (ACCA/CIMA) , with good technical and financial knowledge

2.At least 3 years' experience in an accounting role

3.Highly proficient in Excel, as well as other MS Office products

4.Knowledge of SAP would be preferred but training will be given

5.The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines

6.Able to work well as part of a team, as well as independently

7.Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across multiples teams in various locations.
