The Role

In this general marketing role you will take responsibility for marketing our apprenticeship provision to both Levy paying and non-levy paying businesses, becoming the 'go-to' person for delivering marketing activity for these areas.

You will work with the Marketing Manager and operational teams to create a rolling plan of activity in line with the agreed marketing strategy for that area and, in turn, report return on investment from this.

This will role will need you to be able to use both digital (email/social/web/search) and traditional (content, PR, print - brochures, flyers - events) techniques and any other appropriate activity to develop and implement a rounded, integrated strategy - working with key stakeholders in the wider company and marketing team for expert support.

You will work closely with your peers in the marketing team to ensure a holistic approach ensuring messages are appropriate. Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and the training / further education sector, especially the current apprenticeship climate, would be a bonus.

  • Flexibility - adapt quickly to changing circumstances and needs and to work with the minimum of supervision

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

·Ownership of marketing activity for the whole Apprenticeship arm of the business,

·Working with colleagues to create and deliver successful cross-channel marketing plans

·Designing and developing campaigns and collaterals

·Working with colleagues to research and write content for marketing materials, website, news stories and press releases

·Ensure all marketing materials, including website etc, for your business stream is kept up-to-date

·Work closely with peers to deliver appropriate activity

·Ensure literature adheres to set brand guidelines

·Supporting the wider marketing team/company as and when required

·Assist with internal and external events where appropriate

·Taking the lead on measuring and reporting return on investment for your Apprenticeship strategy

·Competitor analysis and reporting

·Communicate with external stakeholders and clients in a positive and productive way.

·Comply with the company's policies and procedures and maintain close liaison with all departments on activities

·Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours

·Implement and comply with the Safeguarding and Health and Safety Policies

·Ensure the maintenance of confidentially and professionalism at all time

·Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company
