National Account Manager - Vape Channel

Our Client:
Our client are soon to launch a category-defining vaping device in the UK. Following several years of intensive development this business have developed a product which is going to take the market by storm. This product mimics the ritual of smoking whilst dispensing with the harmful aspects that come from burning tobacco and their aim is simple they are supporting people on their journey to zero. Not just zero cigarettes, but also zero nicotine, continuing to innovate for a smoke-free and nicotine-free world.

The Opportunity:
A forward thinking, innovative company based in central London are seeking a National Account Manager to manage the Vape Channel. Developing & managing the Vape Chains/ Retailers & Wholesalers across the UK you would be working very closely with the Sales Director, Marketing & potentially the company Share Holders.

The Role:
  • Building long term sales strategies and commercial propositions to ensure our clients is one of shoppers first choice with strong with chosen launch partners within the Vape Channel.
  • Construct and manage commercial agreements with dedicated key vape chains to maximize company revenue and profit
  • Key point of contact for the leading specialist customers and their decision makers
  • Negotiate business terms and annual JBP 's with Sales Director
  • Prepare customer contracts and lead their implementation in line with approved company commercial policy
  • Deliver sales forecasting in line with company rhythm
  • Deliver targeted volume and margin goals for customers on a weekly (first 100 days) , monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Agree channel relevant in store visibility (from temporary to permanent) to create brand awareness and boost sales
  • Implement promotional marketing & sales activities in line with communication calendar
  • Create and conduct permanent training plans for the teams of the key customers/distributors
  • Full responsibility for P&L for all customers in channel to the level of operating profit
  • Actively cooperates with other people within the company (especially marketing, shopper , operations) to achieve total company goals
  • Negotiate commercial terms (with SD) and margin including pricing, listings, fees, hurdle rates as well as digital initiatives to drive traffic in PPC, SEO, Email, Affiliates, Display and Retargeting (Essential)
  • Oversee the supply chain within all accounts through forecasting and internal delivery of an accurate forecast
  • Ensure all channel customers that there is inclusion of data sharing/sales out and POS metrics as part of contract negotiations (and define the ROI where possible) (Essential)
  • Identify growth opportunities for .com and help prioritise the key areas of focus within UK landscape
  • Production of Sales Management reporting (standardised reports daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Provide sales trend insights to the sales director along with recommendations regarding pricing & promotional strategies
  • Lead the integration of major sales initiatives, new product launches and shopper engagement platforms into the online channel plan
  • Develop strategies with the customer to deliver growth initiatives across social, online retail and all customer media platform
  • Drive content agenda online internally for all retail customers

Location:Home Based with regular visits to client sites & occassionally head office (London)

Package & Benefits
  • £40,000-£60,000 - negotiable (Competitive salary based on experience)
  • 20-25% Bonus
  • £6,000 car allowance, Fuel card/millage
