KCR are excited to be working with an excellent client based in Blyth. This fast moving and growing business are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. Due to the recent and future forecast growth of the business they plan to introduce new financial systems and therefore this role would suit someone who pro-actively seeks methods to improve processes.

Main duties will include:

·Invoice payments

·Posting purchase invoices

·Reconciliations and account queries

·Preparation of daily and weekly payment runs

·Posting and allocating bank payments and receipts

Main skills required:

·Previous knowledge on working in an accounts payable function

·Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages including Excel

·Strong numerical ability

·Analytically strong with the ability to challenge

·Ability to plan and manage changing priorities

·SAGE experience

Salary and benefits:

·£19,600 per annum for 37.5 hours per week

·Private medical scheme

·Defined contribution pension scheme

·33 days holiday (inclusive of 8 statutory days)

·Bonus scheme
