Our client are currently looking for 2 enthusiastic individuals to work in the busy admissions and retail areas at their London Wetland Centre.

Location: London

Vacancy 1
Ref: ROS30/LWC30 hours per week (permanent position)£15,584 - £16,400 per annum

Vacancy 2
Ref: ROS14/LWC14 hours per week on a 6-month contract£7,273 - £7,653 pro rata

As the first and often last point of contact with their visitors, the ideal candidates will be confident in providing excellent professional customer care to all visitors. These are key roles in the provision of a welcoming environment, managing a team, striving to maximise both visitor enjoyment and engagement with the work of the Trust, and profits generated to go towards the vital conservation work of the charity.

The successful candidates will have sales experience in a customer facing retail environment, a friendly personality and a commitment to providing an exceptional visitor experience, including all aspects of customer care, in a professional and approachable manner. The successful candidates will also have some team management experience and strong people skills. Visual merchandising skills in a retail environment and an interest in wildlife and conservation would be beneficial to the role.

Some lifting will be required within the role to manage and display stock effectively.
