The core aim of the Development Team is to provide departments across the business with the software they need to work as effectively as possible. This means innovation, automating manual tasks or exploiting cutting edge technology to deliver value back to the business like the Lidar vehicle we have harvesting 3D geospatial data around the country or the use of AWS Cloud infrastructure to deploy our projects.

As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop critical systems for the business using the most recent technologies available. We will support you in fulfilling your potential and you will benefit from training and development from our experienced and expert Software Engineers.

You are ambitious, an expert in your field with the tenacity to succeed. You will be able to demonstrate the essential criteria whilst bringing your own passion and ideas. Some of the key skills you will possess are:

·Experience on software development preferably with C# or Python

·Experience implementing REST APIs

·Experience with UI development

·SQL experience (preferably PostgreSQL and/or MySQL)

·Passionate about building quality software

·Experience with containers and cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and others)

·Experience with Linux development/management

·Experience with GIS
