The Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a key role in driving Endsleigh's vision of being the leading insurance partner to the education community.

As Student Union Marketing Executive you will be based in our Marketing team, reporting into B2C Campaign Planner. You will be working alongside another Student Union Marketing Executive to deliver Endsleigh's overall Student Union marketing strategy.

The Role

In this role you will be accountable for the design, implementation and ongoing account management of the Student Union Marketing Agreements. Your main purpose will be to drive maximum return on our marketing investment through effective ongoing partnering with the Student Unions and compelling market messages to the Student community. Further responsibilities within this role will include;

·Maximise value of our exclusive market access through Student Union Marketing Agreements (SUMAs) to reach students, increase Endsleigh brand awareness and consideration, and drive direct enquiries to the Endsleigh website.

·Ensure the Endsleigh brand is protected, enhanced, maintained and consistent across all touch-points as per best practice.

·Introduce and manage a performance management framework with the SUs, ensuring ongoing optimisation and value focus.

·Adhere to relevant governance frameworks & platforms to ensure that we're complying with FCA requirements.

·Ensure that SUMA agreements and activity align with broader B2C campaign activity to drive consistency of messaging and maximum benefit.

·Work with the B2C Campaign Planner and other Student Union Marketing executive to define the channel marketing activity by Student Union to ensure the best overall ROI for £0.5m spend.

·Support the B2C Campaign Planner to review and develop insight on students from our Brand Tracking survey and other forms of research.

·Identify opportunities to capture student data, improve market access and uplift conversion rates.

·Maintain & acquire new data sources.

·Maintain & create new access channels - to increase direct business and improve penetration to students.

·Measure all SU engagement and capabilities via KPI reporting for campaigns.

The Person

You will be given the space to think freely and have the confidence to champion change, pushing boundaries by using your initiative to contribute new strategic ideas and follow these through to delivery. You will be results focused with a keen interest in the commercial performance of the business and an understanding of how this role contributes to company performance.

Experience in a similar role as a Marketing/Account Executive role is essential and you will preferably be degree educated and/or hold a marketing qualification, although these qualifications are not essential if outweighed by your experience.

It is key that you are able to develop and maintain strong, productive working relationships that deliver value as you will be interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, working closely with university representatives and also the internal Business Development teams.
