BACKGROUND

We are recruiting for a Junior Technical Business Consultant in London. This is a full time position including a salary of £22,500-25,000.

TAP LONDON OPPORTUNITY

In the heart of London, just a stone's throw from Waterloo, is a hub of marketing automation genius.

TAP London works with brands and agencies to deliver cross-channel, data-driven marketing and customer experience solutions. When you hire TAP, you don't just need a digital marketing consultant - you need a partner who is an expert in the Adobe Experience Cloud. On a day to day basis, we help our clients to accelerate projects that provide meaningful insight and memorable customer experiences.

As an implementation-focused business that is experiencing strong growth, successful candidates will have the chance to build a business as well as their own careers working with big-ticket customer data and marketing technologies.

ROLE, KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Junior Technical Business Consultant will play a key role in the design, implementation and ongoing support of marketing technology solutions to both new and existing customers. This is a varied role which will involve working across multiple integration and marketing automation projects, often including parallel assignments in different departments of the same client organisation.

The day to day responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the Junior Technical Business Consultant on a number of projects.
  • Organising and running workshops/stakeholder interviews to elicit business requirements.
  • Implementation of marketing technology projects, including data integration, reporting, marketing campaigns and web applications.
  • Providing best practice recommendations to new/existing clients.
  • Delivering appropriate project artefacts/documentation, such as Business Requirements, Technical Design, Testing Plan etc.
  • Helping clients to understand the benefits of an investment in customer data and/or marketing technology.
  • Supporting the end-to-end delivery of technology from vendors that include Adobe, Apteco, Tableau and more.

We have some fantastic clients across many industries including Consumer Electronics, Financial Services, Publishing, Retail, Travel and more. Although the majority of these are based in and around London, international/national travel will be required from time to time.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are primarily interested in bright and articulate self-starters who have an interest in delivering complex software projects in a client-facing environment. As such, we are less interested in your industry experience and more interested in your rounded technical understanding with the communication skills to back this up.

The following traits, skills and experience are essential:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; with a natural ability to articulate ideas, problems and technical solutions in a way that non-technical people can understand.
  • Prefer a hands-on approach to gathering user requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, web Services and database design.
  • Analytical thinker, with strong problem solving skills.
  • Always looking for an easier way to do something.
  • Takes pride in their work.
  • Confidence and decisive.
  • Enjoy working in a team, where you can listen, contribute ideas and share responsibility.

We work hard but reward harder:

• Competitive salaries - Rewarding the very best talent joining our high performing team
• Annual bonuses - As TAP London succeeds, we make sure you do too
