Job Summary

Energist UK are consultants for Britain's architects, developers, builders and contractors providing cost-effective solutions and reducing the complexities of meeting building regulation compliance for both residential and commercial developments.

We are investing in the next stage of our digital journey and our objective is to build a high performing team of marketing specialists, with an emphasis on digital.

This is a rare opportunity for someone with little to no experience in marketing, looking to start their career in a complex B2B environment with plenty of drive, determination and attention to detail.

We're looking for an enthusiastic creative thinker who is looking to kick-start their marketing career and work their way up. With clear marketing goals and KPI's, we need someone who is committed to support and work with the team to achieve these and learn as much as they can along the way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day you'll be responsible for all admin tasks such as pulling data, working with stats in excel, and eventually identifying trends
  • You'll be the main go-to between the sales and marketing teams, ensuring we communicate effectively all our activity and results
  • For our print marketing you'll be the go-to person for reaching out to suppliers and gathering quotes, and then placing and managing orders
  • Social media will be part of your weekly responsibilities; however, we are not heavy users given that we work in a B2B space
  • You will be required to undergo training to use InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator so that you are able to create simple campaign artwork
  • We hold a lot of collateral in house which needs weekly stock taking and recording to ensure we do not run out of anything, including our chocolate supplies!
  • Building email campaigns in MailChimp and managing our ESP
  • Using CRM to coordinate lists for campaigns
  • Support the Marketing team wherever needed and learn as much as possible along the way

Required Competencies and Qualifications
  • High level of English and Maths
  • Desire to work in a B2B marketing environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Interest in new trends and software
  • Natural problem solver
  • Hard worker with the drive to achieve and progress their career
  • A self-starter with good initiative and an ability to work alone
  • A significant interest personal development and learning
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable but not essential
  • Candidates should have an unrestricted eligibility to live and work in the UK

You will be located with the marketing team in Cirencester and whilst occasional remote or home working may be available, this is an office-based role.
