Purchase Ledger Clerk - Job Description

Reporting To: Management Accountant Accessories Division
Within this role, some of your key accountabilities will include:
* Accurate, high volume invoice processing and entry
* Resolving supplier and internal queries in a timely manner
* Ensuring Purchase Ledger policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
* Preparing payments (one off payments as well as large batch payments)
* Supplier list maintenance (including set up of new accounts and maintenance of existing accounts)
* Reconciliation of Supplier statements
* Assistance with month end and year end process/close
* Ad Hoc purchase related reporting as required
* Reviewing systems and processes and suggesting improvements where necessary

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate:
* IT literacy, particularly with regard to Microsoft Excel
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proven Purchase Ledger experience
* Proven ability to work as part of a team and contribute to its shared success
