Senior C#/ASP.NET developer

This exciting new role will be a hands-on position working on various products including their exciting new online Leisure Management Solution.

It will involve collaborating with the team to develop, support, test and maintain these products. You will have the opportunity to work on full life cycle using agile methodologies.

Job responsibilities:

* Writing high quality, reusable, efficient code
* Writing unit tests
* Working with the Product Owner to understand and implement the requirements
* Providing regular progress updates
* Defining and agreeing upon realistic estimates for tasks
* Highlighting issues and risks and assisting in finding solutions
* Coaching and mentoring other members of the team
* Sharing knowledge and skills with others
* Following and contributing to software development processes and standards
* Becoming a subject matter expert and technical lead in key nominated areas of our systems

A great candidate will have:


* Minimum of 5 years' experience in software application development
* Excellent knowledge and experience of C#, ASP.NET MVC, Windows Forms and Web Forms
* Excellent knowledge and experience of web technologies, including HTML and CSS
* Excellent knowledge and experience of using JavaScript frameworks, for example jQuery or KnockoutJS
* Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills
* Experience of WCF, ASP.NET Web API 2, Entity Framework
* Understanding of IdentityServer or OAUTH or JSON Web Tokens
* Experience of source control and ticketing systems
* Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
* Experience of modern Unit Testing frameworks
