A Service Delivery Manager position has been opened by a global travel company, based in Chester, Cheshire, paying up to £50,000 + Benefits.

With global eCommerce websites and applications, this international travel organisation is looking to add a Solutions Delivery Manager to their team as they look to consolidate a number of disparate companies, websites and applications into one platform. As the Service Delivery Manager, you will be the liaison between the business community, the technical teams and vendors. You will work closely with business units and subject matter experts to identify business needs, highlight improved business process or technology opportunities, develop requirements, identify and select solutions and vendors, as well as support the programme manager in the delivery of the overall programme of change.

Typical Day to Day Duties:
  • Develop a sound knowledge of the brands and understand the effect of any requested changes to those brands and/or lines of business
  • Support the programme manager in the delivery of the overall programme of change
  • Working with the stakeholders and vendors, create, prioritise & manage the product roadmap and backlog ensuring you are maximising value in delivery
  • Run regular planning & intake sessions with stakeholders at all levels in multiple locations
  • Assist in the production of business cases defining the costs and benefits associated with requested changes
  • Assist with post-implementation review and measuring of achieved benefits

Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • Demonstrable Service Delivery experience in a Technical environment
  • Able to interact with a variety of people within the organisation
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Understanding of business analysis principles, processes and techniques
  • Understanding of Service Quality, SLA performance
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
  • Ability to think analytically, solve problems to complex business processes, and document results
