Patient Safety, Quality and Clinical Governance Lead

Full time or part time

Permanent contract

Salary equivalent to Band 8a circa £44,880 - £53,550 per annum (FTE) depending on experience

Location: Cross-site based with frequent travel to sites across London and the Home Counties.

Greenbrook Healthcare is the leading provider of co-located Urgent Treatment Centres caring for NHS patients across London and the Home Counties.

We are expanding our Governance team and are looking to recruit two part time Patient Safety, Quality and Clinical Governance Leads.

This is a challenging and rewarding role; each Patient Safety, Quality and Clinical Governance Lead will have a portfolio of services they are responsible for.

The post holders will have influence and scope to improve patient safety, quality standards and nurture the development of a maturing governance culture.

Both Patient Safety, Quality and Clinical Governance Leads will provide peer support and cross cover as well as deputising for the Associate Director of Quality and Clinical Governance.

The portfolios are yet to be finalised; these will be confirmed following interview. Consideration will be given to candidate preference, travel and service needs.

Requirements

The post holder will be required to work with and provide various levels of direct support for each of their assigned services based on their fluctuating requirements, meaning frequent travel.

Successful candidates will ideally have experience of working at a senior level within a patient safety or quality focused role with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Root Cause Analysis and the management of Serious Incident investigations; they will have exceptional communication and report writing skills with a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to support and learn.
