Head of Operations. Due to sustained financial growth a high-performing, driven and dynamic Head of Operations is required to lead a company-wide programme of continuous improvement for an industry leading, multi award-winning private healthcare group catering to a discerning and affluent clientele.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director the successful candidate will join EF MEDISPA, one of the UK's first medical spas and leading skin clinics, providing cutting edge, innovative face and body treatments, ranging from non-invasive and minimally invasive technologies right through to surgical options.

The ideal Head of Operations will draw on their previous multi-departmental managerial experience working to ensure the continued success of the Clinics (providing aesthetic treatments and retailing skincare products at directly owned and franchised clinics), Medical (providing cosmetic procedures at directly owned and independent hospital facilities), Finance (bookkeeping, accounting, budgeting and financial forecasting) and Marketing (traditional & digital marketing, PR and E-commerce activity) divisions and the business as a whole. First-hand knowledge and experience within a regulated industry in which customer service is highly valued is essential. A thorough understanding of the successful implementation and analysis of KPIs would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse business performance by monitoring key indicators and reviewing profitability of individual divisions

Reviewing operations, staffing levels, systems and internal communications to identify inefficiencies, recommending improvements where necessary

Identify areas of the business where greater efficiencies can be achieved and productivity improved

Formulate a strategic plan with the Managing Director to grow the business and increase profitability.

Liaise with Division Managers in creating annual budgets

Monitor performance to ensure that Divisions stay within budget, recommending adjustments to Managing Director

Review stock ordering system in liaison with Division Managers

Take ownership of Facilities Management.

Skills & Experience:

A proven track record as an Operations Manager with an SME in an industry in which customer service and regulatory compliance are key features

The Group targets an affluent clientele, so experience in the luxury goods sector would be preferred

The Group operates from retail premises, so a background in facilities management, inventory control and direct sales would be an advantage

Able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills and be capable of quickly gaining the confidence of the other senior managers within the Group

Evidence of commercial acumen and success in in meeting targets and managing a profit centre

Excellent analytical and numerical skills including good working knowledge of business software and data analysis tools.

Experience in managing business units, including negotiating contracts.

Proven leadership qualities and demonstrable success in managing a multi-disciplined team.

MBA or equivalent qualification (desirable)
