The Role

As Shawbrook Bank continues to grow we are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our commercial mortgages team based in Brentwood. Your primary area of responsibility will be supporting the marketing management team with all record keeping across content and campaigns, ensuring the division matches their operational activity with process. You will also hold responsibility for gifts and hospitality tracking, events support, V1 invoice processing, budget tracking and diary management of senior teams (e.g. press meetings). Additional requirements will be to assist with content production, collation of reports across PR and advertising performance, weekly content updates to the field sales team, and campaign & project support.

  • Own divisional record keeping process across all B2B and B2C campaign activity
  • Ensure all records across financial promotions and non-financial promotions are complete, along with full audit trail
  • Provide regular budget tracking updates to marketing director
  • Actively assist report generation for senior management executive meetings - advertising, PR, social & events performance
  • Maintain accurate G&H log by assisting sales ops team and reporting to marketing director
  • Assist events programme with - merchandise/ collateral delivery, and courier support
  • Support marketing director, and divisional marketing team on key projects & campaigns
  • Own bi-annual barometer research projects and associated platforms
  • Control the invoicing process to ensure a match with accounts team at all times
  • Act as point of contact for PR agency and leadership team for press meetings and relationship building
  • Ensure divisions are fit for audit across campaigns and content, maintaining complete records and up-to-date processes
  • Maintain up to date track spend and relevant reporting, efficiently processing all invoices
  • Collate monthly divisional exec reports using internal and external reporting
  • Support events function and ensure field sales are updated across events and content
  • Develop high level understanding of Shawbrook offering
  • Support relevant campaigns and projects

The Person
  • A marketing degree or administration experience from within a marketing function
  • Advanced PC skills including excellent Excel, Word skills Excellent communications
  • Experience of analytics and reporting
  • Knowledge of digital communications systems preferable
  • Extremely well organized with ability to run multiple projects and engage with multiple stakeholders
