The position itself....
The school are looking to appoint an exceptional teacher who wants to make the next step in their career and take on the TLR of Year 7 Progress Leader. This is a pivotal role within the school and you would be responsible for providing motivational leadership and deciding priorities for the year group. You will work closely with all teaching and non-teaching staff to ensure students receive the very best support as they make their way through the school.

Teachers of all subjects will be considered, particularly history, geography and science. As a teacher you would also be responsible for preparing, setting and teaching meaningful and engaging work for students of all abilities through Years 7 to 13, including GCSE, BTEC and A-Level.

The school has 1,000 students on roll and an over-subscribed Year 7 intake, a popular school in Buckinghamshire. The school is based in a diverse, supportive and ever-changing community in Aylesbury and our students are respectful, hardworking and eager to succeed, borne out by the schools high attendance figures.
