Our client are an established organisation in the automotive industry. Due to growth and expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Network Engineer.

You will be responsible for the following:

Outline and Responsibilities:
  • Leading networking, security and telephony related projects and changes
  • Problem management, investigating, fault-finding, identifying the root cause and implementing permanent fixes
  • Working closely with co-workers from the Run the Business half of the IS / IT team
  • Liaising with various parties e.g. local system users, colleagues from other battery plants, 3rd party providers, Global / Head Office
  • IS / IT governance e.g. financials, enterprise architecture, hardware & software asset management, policies, procedures and processes
  • Various regular reporting to IS / IT and business management

Experience and Qualifications Required:

The ideal candidate will be a Cisco-certified network professional with 8+ years of supporting networks in a manufacturing environment

Essential certifications and technology experience:
  • CCNP-level Certification
  • Cisco Nexus Architecture (9K, 7K and 2K)
  • ACI and VXLAN
  • 4500, 6500, 3800, 2900, ASR
  • IOS, IOS-XR, OSPF, L2/L3 and QoS

Preferred certifications and technology experience:
  • CCNP (Data Centre/Security/Routing, Switching, Collaboration, Wireless)
  • PCNSE (Palo Alto)
  • Site-to-Site & AnyConnect Client Access VPN
  • Cisco ISE integration with wired data, wireless infrastructure & TACACS functionality
  • BGP, ISIS, EIGRP
  • Cloud technology (AWS/Azure)
