We are exclusively working with a growing organisation on the outskirts of Norwich to recruit a Payroll Team Leader to join their engaging and busy team. Working alongside other managers and co-ordinators, this role will be responsible for processing payroll on a monthly basis for the organisation and its 12 subsidiaries, as well as the training and development of the payroll team.

The business are initially looking for someone who is available immediately for a temp position with the opportunity for the role to go permanent in a few months time.

The role will include:
  • Processing and Running the payroll for approx. 900 staff
  • Leading the payroll function and supporting assistants
  • Training and developing payroll team members
  • Statutory returns to HMRC
  • Liaise with the Pensions coordinator on returns

The ideal candidate:
  • Payroll qualified (qualified by experience will be considered)
  • Experience using iTrent is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Confident working with Excel and Payroll systems
  • Good communication skills, both with team members and customers
  • Understands how vital confidentiality and empathy are to the role
