A well established and successful company based in the centre of Bournemouth are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their very supportive Finance team. This position is ideal for someone with previous experience within Finance and Accounts who is looking for a varied, busy role performing a wide variety of transactional finance tasks.

The Role

Working within the Finance team, your responsibilities will include the following:

·Manage account files on the in house system

·Liaising with customers and internal staff to resolve queries

·Ensure records and databases are updated

·Complete bank reconciliations

·Liaise with internal staff and customers to support user experience

·Investigate anomalies within accounts

·Support Year End processes

·Assist with the preparation of accounting reports

·Assist with the wider team where necessary

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally for this role you will be available to start at short notice and will have some previous experience within a Financial Accounting role.You need to have a strong level of numeracy and be good at Excel.A methodical approach and eye for detail are clearly essential, as is a willingness to work in a busy environment and 'muck in'.
