Sewell Wallis are exclusively partnering with a large global organisation who are looking to make some significant changes within their finance structure. They currently have a large subsidiary over in the Netherlands and are now looking to manage that division from the UK, therefore requiring an experienced Dutch speaking Finance Manager to join their team.

The business as a whole, have recently been through a large acquisition and are now steadily expanding every month. The finance team has grown with a number of exciting new vacancies over the last year to be able to support the new acquired business, making it a fast paced and rewarding environment to work in.

As their new Finance Manager, you will report into the Finance Director and will have the following responsibilities:-

-Lead the initial transition to move the Netherlands accounting function into the UK. This will not be a complicated process, however it requires someone diligent and thorough to ensure everything transferred across smoothly and efficiently
-Produce the monthly management accounts
-P&L review and variance analysis with the FD on a monthly basis to understand what the variances are so they can discuss them with the CFO
-Balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals
-Manage the costing and pricing process for the Netherlands divisions
-Work closely with various budget holders in the Netherlands, acting as their business partner and supporting them to understand where the numbers are coming from and how profitability can be improved
-Focus on system and process improvement throughout and work closely with the FD in any projects that will improve overall department efficiency

Our client is quite open on the background of the individual, as long as your demonstrate a career in accountancy and can work within a challenging and fast paced company. The key requirement for this role is that you are fluent in Dutch as this is an area that the business is currently lacking.
