Working for this established market leader in their sector, the Commercial Account Managerwill be key to the continued growth and development of the company. The Commercial Account Managerwill assist the Head of Department to proactively manage relationships with partners, ensuring each is commercially maximised. To assist in sourcing new projects and revenue into the Commercial department and ensure quality of existing service provisions. The Commercial Account Managerwill be joining a successful and expanding business and will be rewarded with free parking, up to 33 days' holidays, a company pension and being part of a motivated, passionate team.

To apply for the Commercial Account Manager role, you should have a good understanding of flight wholesaler operations, along with existing industry relationships. The successful Commercial Account Manager will possess a demonstrable sales acumen and exceptional negotiation skills. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to attend meetings in London from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage defined area relationships with partners
  • Assist in new projects and ensure a quality proposal and onboarding solution
  • Assist to identify new commercial opportunities and revenue generation
  • Understand, report and improve performance with partners

Key Tasks:
  • Management of designated partner relationships
    • Developing relationships with stakeholders and support teams
    • Ensure a consistency of approach and communication
  • New projects
    • Assist Head of Department in liaison with partners to understand requirements
    • Scope process and operational requirement
    • Produce professional documentation on solutions
    • Onboard new projects directly into the servicing teams as relevant
  • Competition analysis
    • Benchmark against competitors
    • Monitor competitor activity - new routes, products etc
    • Identify potential threats to market share
  • Liaison with Sales & Marketing Team
    • Identify opportunities to protect or increase sales vs competition
  • Reporting
    • Produce reporting on sales & Commercial/Marketing activity
    • Forecasting sales
    • Set, review and report SLA/KPI on outsourced services in conjunction with other internal teams
  • Systems
    • Have a thorough understanding of how various online booking portals and back office systems work
    • Identify and recommend efficiencies and enhancements to processes
  • Maintenance of Commercial Dept Intranet section
  • Represent Commercial department in internal cross-department team meetings

Essential Skills:
  • Good understanding of flight wholesaler operations

  • Able to work on own initiative
