1:1 SEN Teacher needed for school in Knowsley, competitive rates of pay available.

Your new company
A number of our partnership schools have asked Hays to grow their talent pool of staff specialising in SEN and specifically those with previous experience of working with children and young people, with Autism and complex needs.

Your new role
There are full and part time roles available with both short term and long term roles (4 weeks to 3 months) delivering balanced and relevant curriculum. You will be confident working on a 1:1 basis, adopting a gentle teaching method that is a bespoke and personalised learning programme for each young person.

What you'll need to succeed
This role will involve facilitating the delivery of a mixed curriculum so candidates with previous experience of working with ASD, EBD, MLD pupils will be encouraged to apply and an understanding of the National Autistic Society's SPELL framework is desirable. Experience working with children and young people is required along with a minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English.
