Your new company
A highly reputable and well-known organisation, based in Bournemouth, are seeking a Payroll and Accounts Assistant to join them on a temporary basis. You will be working as part of a friendly and welcoming team to ensure payroll is completed in a timely manner in accordance with all policies and procedures. This is a temporary ongoing position and could potentially lead to a permanent position.

Your new role
You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller assisting with the accounts function and ensuring the smooth day to day running of the payroll process.
  • Monthly Payroll for 500+ employees
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • SSP/SMP/SPP and holiday pay
  • Auto-enrolment and pension schemes
  • Query resolution
  • Staff expenses
  • Month end journals
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Processing invoices
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have previous experience from a similar payroll position. You will be highly numerate, have excellent attention to detail and be able to meet strict deadlines. You will be an effective communicator, excellent team player and have good IT skills.
